Technical information, including your browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform, or information about your internet connection, the equipment you use to access our Services (e.g. device identifier and features, operating system, or your mobile carrier), and usage details. Sensitive Personal Information
Jillii’s Services are not designed to collect sensitive personal data, as defined under applicable law. Where you voluntarily provide information to Jillii that may be considered sensitive personal data under applicable law, such as gender information, through your User Content, or if Jillii collects your date of birth for the purpose of verifying your eligibility to use the Services and providing the Services, such data is handled and processed the same as any other Personal Information subject to the same security, retention, and rights provisions described in this Privacy Policy, together with any additional protections required under applicable law.
How We Collect Information About You
We use different methods to collect your information, including through:
Direct interactions with you when you provide it to us, for example, by filling in forms or corresponding with us via the Website, the App, by email, or otherwise in the Services.
Information provided by other users about guests or invitees, such as the name and contact information of additional guests a user adds to create guest lists, manage invitations, and facilitate event-related communications.
Automated technologies or interactions, as you navigate through our Services, information collected automatically may include usage details, IP addresses, and information collected through cookies and other tracking technologies.
Information You Provide to Us
When you use the Services, download, register with, or use this App or Website, we may ask you to provide:
Information that you provide by filling in forms available through the Services. This includes information you provide when creating a User Account, posting User Content and/or otherwise using the Services.
Records and copies of your correspondence (including email addresses) if you contact us.
Your search queries on the Services.
You may also post User Content. You post and transmit User Content to others at your own risk. Although you may set certain privacy settings for such information by logging into your User Account profile, please be aware that no security measures are perfect. We cannot control the actions of third parties with whom you may choose to share your User Content. Therefore, we do not guarantee that unauthorized persons will not view your User Content.
Information Provided by Users About Guests or Invitees
If a User invites you to an event as a guest, the inviting User may provide your name, telephone number, and other contact information so that Jillii can provide the Services, including creating and managing guest lists and facilitating event invitations. If you click on an invitation link, download the App, and provide your event response through the Services, that information, including your response and any Personal Information you choose to provide, will be shared with the inviting User.
If the inviting User designates one or more co-hosts for the event, those co-hosts will have access to your name, phone number, invitation status, and other event-related information necessary to manage the event.
If you are a guest and do not have a User Account, Jillii may store the data associated with your name, telephone number, and other contact information provided by the inviting User for the purposes of providing the Services. If you later create a User Account using the same phone number associated with your guest information, Jillii may associate that guest information with your User Account to provide you with the Services, provided that the guest information remains associated with the inviting User’s event and guest list before you create a User Account. Once you have created a User Account and your guest information has been associated with that User Account, your User Account and profile information are maintained independently of any particular event. Accordingly, if an inviting User subsequently deletes the applicable event or removes you from the guest list, only the event-specific information (including your invitation, RSVP, and guest-list entry for that event) will be deleted.
Where Personal Information of a guest is provided by a User, Jillii may take reasonable steps, where feasible, to provide notice to such guests through the contact information provided. Jillii reserves the right to restrict or remove such data where we reasonably believe it violates applicable law.
